What We Strive For
Design typographic pages that seamlessly integrate photography and structured type, reflecting the artist’s essence. The layout should convey the artist’s music style through both single and double-page spreads.
My Approach
The featured artist is SZA, and the inspiration came from her album SOS. The album’s chill vibes and water-themed artwork influenced the design. On the single page, SZA’s left hand reaching out inspired the use of wave-like strokes, representing her making waves in the music industry. The double-page spread echoes the single-page design, replacing the lines with typography that describes her music.
